You'll work in a supportive environment, helping customers navigate AT&T's diverse mobile offerings and closing sales. Responsibilities of a Mobile Sales Advisor
- Proactively engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their unique communication needs, lifestyle, and budget.
- Confidently demonstrate AT&T’s product features and benefits, explaining technical specifications in an easy-to-understand manner to help customers make informed decisions.
- Skillfully present customized telecom solutions that address customer needs, highlighting the value and advantages of AT&T offerings.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services, maximizing customer satisfaction and sales revenue.
- Assist customers with new account activations, upgrades, and plan changes, ensuring all paperwork and digital processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide ongoing support for customer inquiries, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate channels.
- Consistently strive to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the retail location.
- Actively participate in sales training and coaching sessions to continuously improve selling techniques and product knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues to achieve collective goals.
Qualifications to becoming a Mobile Sales Advisor:
Required:
- Proven customer service or sales experience, preferably in retail or telecommunications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build rapport and engage diverse customers.
- Strong active listening and questioning skills to understand customer needs.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate sales and CRM software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Prior experience selling mobile devices, wireless services, or telecommunications products.
- Familiarity with AT&T products and services.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English).
