Mobile Sales Advisor: Building Futures Together

You'll work in a supportive environment, helping customers navigate AT&T's diverse mobile offerings and closing sales. Responsibilities of a Mobile Sales Advisor

  • Proactively engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their unique communication needs, lifestyle, and budget. 
  • Confidently demonstrate AT&T’s product features and benefits, explaining technical specifications in an easy-to-understand manner to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Skillfully present customized telecom solutions that address customer needs, highlighting the value and advantages of AT&T offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services, maximizing customer satisfaction and sales revenue.
  • Assist customers with new account activations, upgrades, and plan changes, ensuring all paperwork and digital processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide ongoing support for customer inquiries, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate channels.
  • Consistently strive to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the retail location.
  • Actively participate in sales training and coaching sessions to continuously improve selling techniques and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues to achieve collective goals.

Qualifications to becoming a Mobile Sales Advisor:

Required:

  • Proven customer service or sales experience, preferably in retail or telecommunications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build rapport and engage diverse customers.
  • Strong active listening and questioning skills to understand customer needs.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate sales and CRM software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience selling mobile devices, wireless services, or telecommunications products.
  • Familiarity with AT&T products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English).
